Right, so woke up a tad late today, or at least my mind did; 1400 hours when I woke up I think, at least that's what the clock said. Anyway, been reading some blogs, all of it talking about the A math paper. Funny, cos it seems that the A math paper was today, but I don't remember anything about it. In fact, can't remember anything before 2. So if you have any questions about the so-called "A math" paper that supposedly took place "today", don't ask me. At all. Or I'll scream. Seriously.

Right, so first off, bio.
Did complete most of the paper I guess, but this I think is also the point where I say "Oh shit, I'm so gonna fail."

Ribosomes are used in the synthesis of proteins and amino acids.
RER is used to transport proteins around the cells.
SER is used to synthesise lipids and fats, as well, as the detox. of harmful substances.
The cytoplasm is the medium by which all organelles exist. It is mostly made up of water. I think
Cell membrane is a partially permeable membrane that only allows certain organisms in and out of the cell.
The mitochondria is a rod-shaped organelle. It is the site of respiration. It has two membranes, its inner membrane is folded to increase SA for efficient R(x).
The golgi body is used to convert raw proteins from the RER into more complex proteins that are bundled up, and have vesicles pinch them off the golgi body, to be sent to the membrane.
Vacuoles are membrane-bound sacs that hold minerals that are transported around the cell. It is 90% water.



Diffusion is the process whereby molecules move from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration.

Osmosis is the movement of water down a concentration gradient thru a partially permeable membrane.

Active transport is the movement of molecules against a water gradient, waith energy.

Benedicts test is used to test for reducing sugars. Place an equal vol. of benedicts solution to a volume sample. place it in a boiling bath, the colution should turn brick-red.

Biuret's test is used to test for proteins. Add half to the vol. of food sample NaOH. SHake. Hard. Then add CuSO4 dropwise. the sol. should turn violet.

EMulsion test. Add acohol to a dry test tube containing sample. Wait for clear mixture to appear. Then add water. Elmusion should take place.

So today was the devil's paper that is e maths, and surprisingly it was not that bad. And the bible is the world's most shoplifted book. Fact. Irony much. Anyway, At least I completed all the questions, a first for me, and still had good enought time to do some checking for the paper 1. At least I think I got all the indices questions. Wayyyy thankful for that. Paper 2 was also manageable, the square question thingy took quite some time, but by george, I think I got it right! Oh yeah. Oh, and did you ever realise that a blue(I think) whale's heart is about the size of a volkswagen beatle.

And speaking aboout beatles, tomorrows bio. One last paper, before the weekends. And it just has to be bio. Crap. I don't even know what the golgi body does anymore. Hmm... that sucks. Darn, I need a more efficient way to study, than just pouring information into the brain all the day before. Hmm...pouring is really inefficient.

So once again, new blog, new skin, same old cbox though. Been suddenly missing blogging(again), so here. Though I think this is gonna be a one off thing(again). Anyway, I think, just think, that right now, its SA1. ANd I say think, cos, I'm not studying. See, cos its 5 plus now, and I'm still watching whose line is it anyway(awesome show). So I don't know. Hmm...

Anyway, it must have already started, cos like I think I just took three papers already. No no, hold on, chinese, english, ss, and chem, so thats 5 papers. Yea. five. Hmm. Anyway, here's how it went. Chinese was well, chinese, so that meant unsure. Hmm, make that very unsure. Very very unsure. No idea what the comprehension was talking about anyway. Then came ss. Oh thank god for the extra time, 10 mins was still extra time. Think I might've done ok. Amazing, what 15 mins of reading at 5.45 in the morning can do. And then after that was english. The story was ok I think, a bit vague, but it happens all the time. So I'm screwed. If the marker was like the last one, change that to dead. Magazine report was a dear. I was absolutely clueless. And today, chem. Chem. Chem. Chem. Guess how that went. Well, I got absolutely unbelievably floored. First 15 questions were ok, then after that I can't remember much I think I got slapped in the face 29 times, flipped myself inside out, choked on my own blood twice and got knocked out cold. How's that for a paper.


Anyway(I need a new segway), tomorrow's math. no no, not the devils language a math, it's lesser evil, e math, but nonetheless evil still. So, I think I've got to get around to start doing some practice, hopefully a good two hours. Hmm. I think I'm going to screw up on indices, again. You know, I do have a theory. On how math came about. I mean, people don't just complicate their lives just because it helps them, do they? No, of course not. Oh, so that's why we got megan fox. Oh, okay then.

Oh my god, this is so gonna be the scariest prelude to a scariest exam(A math) I'm gonna ever have. Until SA2 that is.
